Fixing the old wiring has been the hardest part of the restoration so far. Lucky for me all of the wires are still original and are properly colour coded, but I could not find an electrical diagram to properly match my exact setup.
I took the opportunity to give all the terminals and contacts a good clean, as well as buying new headlight and hazard light switches.
The indicators kept blowing the fuse which frustrated me to no end. In the end I found a shorted connection inside of the steering column switch, now the problem is solved!
